
Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 47.32 points (-0.39%) when it closed at 12,080.66 points here Thursday.
The bourse' market capitalisation declined to QR 656.91 Billion from QR 658.963 Billion on Wednesday.
The traded value today increased to QR 329.56 Million with a volume of 6,812,255 shares from 5,128 transactions compared to QR 293.39 Million with a volume of 6,086,865 shares from 4,051 transactions on Wednesday.
Indices of insurance (+2.78%) and real estate (+0.35%) ended in the green while the rest ended in the red zone today.
Telecom index continued its downward slide, dropping the most today, down -1.35% to 1,367.08 points.
Industries dropped -0.90% (3,977.02 points), banks and financial services -0.32% (3,249.74 points), transport -0.26% (2,491.28 points), and consumer goods and services dropped -0.08% (7,141.58 points).
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 41 were traded today. From these 20 went down, 15 gained and six remained unchanged.
