
Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 53.92 points (-0.43%) when it closed Wednesday at 12,471.96 points from Tuesday's position of 12,525.88 points.
The market capitalization today decreased to QR 676.76 billion from QR 678.835 billion on Tuesday.
The traded value today increased to QR 438.31 million with a volume of 11,182,872 shares from 5,574 transactions compared with QR 598.195 million with a volume 10,923,525 shares from 5,707 transactions on Tuesday.
Except industries, up +0.48% to 4,035.84, indices of all sectors ended in the red today.
Real estate declined the most, down (-2.71%), insurance (-0.89%), transport (-0.45%), telecoms (-0.28%), consumer goods and services (-0.03%) and banking and financial services dip slightly by -0.01%.
Shares of 17 companies closed higher today and 24 dropped.
