Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 136.56 (+1.11%) when the bourse closed at 12,415.93 points here Wednesday.
The traded value reached QR 1.16 billion with a volume of 28,712,862 shares from 10,800 transactions today.
Indices of all sectors gained, barring banks and financial services which went down -0.20% when it closed at 3,229.06 points.
Real estate sector gained the most, up 5.97% to 2,468.71 points. Telecoms gained +1.84% (1,402.62 points).
Today, 34 companies gained, six went down while three remained unchanged.
