Qatar Stock Index gains 87.68 points

Qatar Stock Exchange continued its upward graph, gaining 87.68 points (+0.74%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,979.83 points Thursday.

The market capitalisation increased to QR 643.50 Billion today from QR 638.83 Billion registered Wednesday.

The trading value increased to QR 468.64 Million with a volume of 11,117,583 shares from 6,357 transactions compared to QR 309.12 Million with a volume of 7,239,211 shares from 4,584 transactions Wednesday.

Indices of all sectors advanced today, except real estate, down -0.31% to 2,563.72 points.

Industries and consumer goods and services indices shared joint lead today with both up +1.37%.

QSE Total Return Index gained +0.74% (18,615.72 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +1.03% (4,520.53 points). QSE All Share Index gained +0.69% (3,196.53 points).

From the 43 listed companies, shares of 39 saw trading today. From these, 25 advanced, nine declined and five remained unchanged.
