
Qatar Stock Exchange index swung back into the green zone Thursday, gaining 97.15 points (+0.85%) when the bourse closed at 11,523.77 points.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 624.44 billion from QR 620.79 billion registered Wednesday.
The traded value today decreased QR 379.98 million with a volume of 8,318,112 shares from 5,660 transactions compared to QR 390.48 million with a volume of 8,499,289 shares from 5,314 transactions.
Indices of all sectors came back into the green zone with telecom sector index gaining the most, up +2.73% to 1,326.69 points.
Real estate index was up +2.47% to 2,349.73 points, consumer goods and services +0.86% (6,845.88 points), insurance +0.83% (4,021.88 points), industries +0.54% (3,757.83 points), transport +0.51% (2,452.89 points) and bank and financial services +0.40% (3,757.83 points).
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 30 gained, nine declined and one remained unchanged.
