Qatar Stocks close higher

Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 17.33 points (+0.14%) when the bourse closed trading at 12,209.54 points Tuesday.

The market capitalisation increased to QR 654.492 Billion from QR 654.163 Billion registered Monday.

The traded value dropped to QR 326.57 Million with a volume of 7,215,278 shares from 4,543 transactions compared to QR 719.92 Million with a volume of 18,298,346 shares from 7,620 transactions on Monday.

Indices of four sectors gained and three dropped today.

Insurance index advanced the most, up +1.30% to 4,177.8 points and consumer goods and serices index declined the most, down -0.40% to 7,318.66 points.

QSE Total Return Index gained +0.14% (18,974.26 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +0.08% (4,645.21 points). QSE All Share Index gained +0.11% (3,259.27 points).

From the 43 listed companies, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these, 16 advanced, 19 declined and seven remained unchanged.
