Share prices fell Friday on the Seoul stock exchange following a decline in the US market, as investors' fears deepened that the eurozone debt crisis could spread further, according to dpa. The benchmark Kospi index dropped 37.50 points, or 2 per cent, to close at 1,839.17. Declining issues outnumbered advancers 631 to 206. The main index of the technology-heavy Kosdaq market shed 3.45 points, or 0.7 per cent, to 503.09. On currency markets, the US dollar was quoted at 1,138.90 Korean won, after trading at 1,130.70 won on Thursday.
