Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 24.25 points, or 0.78 percent, to close at 3,075.99. A total of 2.24 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 11 billion Singapore dollars (867.2 million U.S. dollars). Losers led gainers 256 to 141, while 549 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 33.50 points, or 1.07 percent, to close at 3, 100.24 on Thursday.
