
Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday in a half-day session before Christmas, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 13.4 points, or 0.4 percent, to close at 3,345.91.
A total of 620 million shares changed hands with a turnover of 476 million Singapore dollars (361 million U.S. dollars).
Gainers outnumbered decliners 210 to 109, while 622 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 1.55 points, or 0.05 percent, to close at 3,332.51 on Tuesday.
