
Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.89 percent on Monday to close at 11,529.10 points, up from the 11,427.40 points of Friday.
Banco Sabadell shares led rises by climbing 6.94 percent, followed by Banco Popular, BME, Mapfre and Mediaset that rose 2.93 percent, 2.82 percent, 2.54 percent and 2.29 percent respectively.
On the other hand, Bankia shares led falls by losing 1.06 percent, only followed by Iberdrola that lost 0.43 percent.
The Ibex-35 index rose 0.23 percent in early trading to 11,454.1 points with Indra shares leading rises and FCC shares leading falls. At mid-session, the index rose 0.78 percent with Banco Sabadell shares leading rises by climbing 4.83 percent and Bankia shares leading falls by losing 0.6 percent.
Spanish risk premium fell from 113 points in early trading to 106.5 points on Monday closing time, while Spain's 10 year bond interest rate also fell from 1.335 percent in the morning to 1.28 percent by the end of the session.
