The USD exchange climbed against the Kuwaiti dinar reaching KD 0.291 and the euro dropped to KD 0.360 on Sunday compared with Thursday's rates, the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) said.
The sterling pound exchange rate fell to KD 0.455 and the Swiss Franc followed suit, dropping to KD 0.300.
The Japanese yen remained unchanged, trading at KD 0.003, said the CBK daily bulletin.
Meanwhile, international markets witnessed fall of the euro vis a vis the USD, which continued to rally against background of the industrial sector's sluggishness in the euro zone, during the current month.
Moreover, the greenback gained strength against the euro and the other main currencies due to decline of the number of subsidy applications in the United States -- by 291,000.
