U.S. stock indexes were mixed Monday in New York to start the last full week of trading before Labor Day. In midmorning trading, the blue-chip Dow Jones industrial average lost 31.74 points or 0.24 percent to 13,126.23. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite index added 1.82 points or 0.06 percent to 3,071.61. The Standard and Poor's 500 shed 0.78 points or 0.06 points to 1,410.35. The benchmark 10-year treasury rose 10/32, yielding 1.659 percent. The euro rose to $1.2516 from Friday's $1.2512. Against the yen, the dollar rose to 78.71 yen from 78.65 yen. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 255 index added 14.63 points, 0.16 percent, to 9,085.39.
