U.S. stocks closed mixed in a shortened trading session on Black Friday to wrap up November positive, as key retailers underpinned the market amid frenzied shopping while plummeting oil prices pounded energy sector.
The Dow increased less than 0.1 percent, and the S&P 500 lost 0. 3 percent while the Nasdaq added 0.1 percent.
