
US stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.52% to hit a new 1-month low, while the S&P 500 index lost 0.37%, and the NASDAQ Composite index lost 0.56%.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 2323 to 988 and 35 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1754 fell and 805 advanced, while 59 ended unchanged.
Shares in L Brands Inc (NYSE:LB) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.95% or 3.16 to 60.62.
