HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid Bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah signed with the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu, a memorandum of understanding /MoU/ between the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Academy of the Turkish Foreign Ministry. Thist came on the sidelines of the first day of the first Partners Forum for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations which started here earlier Thursday. The MOU aimed at strengthening cooperation in the areas of diplomatic work training, exchanging information on topics related to international law and diplomatic law and other academic disciplines related to practicing diplomacy and international relations. It also aims at effective exchange of information on the academic programs and relevant activities. The MOU also covers facilitating the exchange of scholars, conference speakers, experts and researchers in different areas as well as organizing courses and seminars that can be held alternately in both Ankara and Doha.
