Overall, the evolution of net monthly salary was 7.4% in 2010. This is a development to link with wage increases occurred during this year, including the increase of the national guaranteed minimum wage (SNMG), which increased from DZD 12,000 to 15,000, the office said. By qualification, this increase is larger (8.6%) for supervisors than for executives (6.3%) and other staff (7.3%), a recent paper on the results a national survey on wages in businesses in 2010, indicated. In contrast, the evolution shows a small increase in wages in firms of collective social and personal services and those of production and distribution of electricity and gas, respectively, with variations of 1.1% and 1.8%.
