
Three railway cars with crude oil have exploded in Shaanxi province, in the Northwest of China, injuring three people. Another 300 have been evacuated from their homes, the Xinhua news agency reported. The accident occurred at the Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Company oil refinery in Yan'an City in the early hours of Saturday, Voice of Russia reported. The firefighters had put out the fire by 6 am local time (2 am Moscow time). All the injured have been rushed to hospitals and an investigation has been launched in what may have caused the incident.
