
The National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA), in collaborationwith the Tatweer Petroleum Company, today held a meeting to discussed BahrainPetroleum Field future development plans, and reviewed the potential obstaclesfacing the development process and its effect on oil and gas production.NOGA's Director-General, Eng. Jassim Isa Al-Shirawi, stressed the NOGA'scommitment to the agreement signed with Occidental Company and MubadalaCompany in 2009 on the development and participation in production operations ofBahrain Petroleum Field.Tatweer's Vice Executive President, Hishaam Zibaari, and Land DevelopmentManaging Director, Barry Sadler, gave an overview of the most important challengesto encounter the Bahrain Petroleum Field development processApproximately 50 government officials attended the meeting.
