
Qatar Petroleum’s (QP) Gas Operations unit has donated a truck head to the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) to use it for their charity programmes and humanitarian relife work.On behalf of QP Gas Operations Manager Operations Eid Mubarak Al-Muhannadi, QP Gas Operations Field Support Manager Ibrahim Abdulla Taimour presented the truck head to QRCS Resources Mobilization and Investment Director Saad Shaheen Al Kaabi, QP said Saturday in a media statement.Al-Muhannadi said, “We are pleased to support QRCS’s various programmes. The truck head will be useful in their ongoing efforts to serve the needs of the less-fortunate people in Qatar and other parts of the world. We wish them every success in their medical missions and other humanitarian activities.”Appreciating QP’s gesture, Al-Kaabi said, “We thank QP’s Gas Operations management in Mesaieed for their laudable initiative.This donation will help in further building the capacity of the QRCS and in improving the lives of many people who rely on our humanitarian efforts.”We encourage all bodies, institutions and companies operating in the State of Qatar to exercise their social responsibilities by supporting charitable and humanitarian programmes, he added.
