
Yemen and China have discussed areas of economic cooperation in the field of oil, gas and minerals and ways of developing them, in addition to Chinese companies' activities operating in Yemen.The discussion was held during a meeting gathered undersecretary of oil and minerals ministry Shawki al-Mikhlafi and the economic and commercial advisor of the Chinese embassy in Sana’a along with a number of representatives of Chinese companies operating in the field of oil and minerals in Yemen.The Yemeni official pointed out the deep relations between Yemen and China, stressing that the ministry is keen to provide all facilities for Chinese companies working in Yemen.He stressed that the ministry would translate the outcomes of President Hadi's recent visit to China in order to establish an economic partnership between the two countries.For his part, the Chinese diplomat stressed the deep relations between the two countries, noting that the Chinese companies have contributed to many developmental areas in Yemen.
