Abbas attends canonisation of 2 Palestinian nuns in Holy See

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has attended the canonization of two Palestinian nuns at the St. Peter Square, the Vatican.
Sisters Marian Bawardy and Marie Ghattas were among four sisters made saints Sunday at a Mass attended by the Palestinian leader.
This comes days after the Vatican finalized a bilateral treaty with the state of Palestine, in recognition of the state of Palestine.
Palestinian flags were waved by audience who attended the event.
