Dr Najeh Bakirat, director of the Al-Aqsa Mosque department, has appealed to Muslim countries for immediate action to save Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. In a written statement released on Friday, Bakirat warned against the demolition work near the Wailing Wall, where historical artifacts belonging to the Ottoman and Umayyad era were located, and he called for confronting the Israel's Judaization process in the city of Jerusalem. Jerusalem Municipality of the Tel Aviv government had recently allowed giving names in Hebrew to Arab neighborhoods, construction of synagogues and restoration of buildings near the Wailing Wall.
