Al-Azhar scholar warns extremists using religions to lure youths

An Al Azhar scholar warned on Wednesday that terrorist groups are using religions to lure youths into their ranks.
Armed terrorist groups do not know anything about Islam, Abbas Shuman, Al Azhar deputy head, said in a meeting with the head of the Middle East Council of Churches.
The meeting aimed at shedding light on Al Azhar's role in combating extremism and terrorism.
