
Algerian academics will partake in an international symposium on "Culture in North Africa, their representations and interactions" on 24 and 25 April at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Chouaïb-Doukkali University, located in the city of El Jadida (Morocco), organizers announced in their website. Lila Medjahed and Benramdane Farid from Ibn Badis University in Mostaganem present will respectively make presentations on "Diaspora and Africa or the new cultural interactions in the era of globalization," and " Tell me how sole is called in your home, wind and children, I will tell you if you're not Maghreb. Maghreb character of proper name, permanence and totality." For their part, Djamel Eddine Bentrad and Latifa Kadi from Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba will make two presentation on "Authenticity and challenge of urban change, study case of the medina of Annaba" and "Intercultural Encounters : Maghreb billboards."
