
Troupes of traditional music and dance, as well as traditional Algerian films will represent Algeria's cultural heritage at the 82nd edition of the European Fair of Strasbourg, in which Algeria is the guest of honor this year.
Scholarly and popular music and varied choreography will be performed from 5 to 15 September at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrè, according to a statement from the AARC.
The Algerian National Ballet will open the shows through a performance made by troupe Zorna from Algiers, a group of rai music, a group of Algerian Chaabi music, Aissawa troop from Annaba and Nora Gnawa Bechar for the following evenings.
On the sidelines of the music concerts, a "Fortnight Algerian films" will offer the public a selection of feature films including "Parfum d'Alger " of Rachid Belhadj, "Heroin" directed by Cherif Aggoune and "La Maison Jaune" of Amor Hakkar.
