A 9-year Emirati young talent was recognised today by the Arab League for his creative inventions to make life of persons with special needs more easier. Adib Sulieman Al Balouchi was honoured during the launch of the first forum of Arab inventors in Cairo in the presence of Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al Arabi, top officials from the Arab League officials, Musheera Abu Ghali, chairperson of the Arab Youth Council for Integrated Development (Aycid), Abdullah Al Khashrami, Chairman of Arab Culture and Information Centre founder of Arab Scientific Club and a number of Arab scientists and investors. The young Emirati smart mind has won scores of accolades including the Cairo-based UN Information Centre's Excellence Award 2013 on scientific research and invention. The Arab Youth Council for Integrated Development (Aycid) has awarded him its honorary membership and named him head of its committee of young inventors and innovators. He was also honoured by the UAE Permanent Ambassador to the Arab League, Mohamed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri. In his address to the forum, Al Balouchi said :'' He was asked by many people how did he win the title of the young Emirati scientist at six. My answer was why not : I'm the child of Zayed and the beloved UAE.'' ''I could not have taken this floor today without the sponsorships and support from my country's leadership, which provided me with the a thought-provocative environment and cleared the way before me until my inventions appeared to public,'' he said. His inventions include a wheel chair and a prosthetic. The Arab League Secretary appreciated the creations of the Emirati young scientist.
