
Deputized by Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Noaimi participated in the conclusive session of the 19th Arab Ministers in-charge of Cultural Affairs in Riyadh, KSA at the invitation of the Arab League's Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
The final session saw the launching of Riyadh Declaration and the call to condemn all sorts of violence and terrorism that target cultural, educational institutions, hospitals or civil sites.
The conference called to boosting pan-Arab cultural cooperation, the compilation of an "Arab Contract of Cultural Rights", prompt accomplishment of feasibility studies of a Comprehensive Plan of Arab Culture, establishment of the Arab Institute for Communication between Cultures and Civilisations, and participation in "Constantine as the Capital of Arab Culture2015" and the provision of support to the Afro-Arab Institute fore Culture and Strategic Studies in Bamako
