
Minister of Awqaf Mohamad Mokhtar Gomaa held consultations with his Arab and Muslim counterparts on the fringe of his participation in the Muslim World League (MWL) conference, currently in session in Mecca Al Mukarama.
He proposed delivering a monthly unified sermon at various Arab and Islamic countries in a gesture of the unity of target and destiny of Muslims worldwide.
A statement released on Sunday by the Ministry of Awqaf said the minister's meetings with his Arab and Muslim counterparts focused on general Islamic issues such as tolerance and the prohibition of burning alive any human being as well as the dangers of drugs on the society.
