
Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam said Sunday moderate curricula of Al Azhar are the best way to achieve intellectual security of societies.
During a meeting with the Sudanese minister of Awqaf Mohamed al Yaqouti, the Mufti said Islam's message aimed at achieving stability and social peace which, he said, is the pillar of stability for societies.
The Mufti hailed Egyptian-Sudanese relations and said Egypt's security is linked to the security of Sudan.
For his part, the Sudanese minister hailed the Egyptian Ifta House's efforts to disseminate the moderate teachings of Islam and fight terrorism.
