
The European Parliament will sponsor the 13th edition of Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain's Prize for Poetic Creativity, scheduled to be held in Brussels in November. President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz said in a letter addressed to Head of the Prize's foundation Abdulaziz Suad Al-Babtain that the European parliamentary body supports the upcoming session that will shed light on joint Arab-European dialogue. The theme of the session carries a lot of weight regarding co-existence among people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds, the foundation said in a press statement Tuesday. In his letter, Schulz stressed the importance of multi-cultural dialogue and how it is a key element to avoiding disputes and misunderstandings. On his part, head of the Babtian foundation told KUNA that the foundation's activities have received positive feedback in Europe; hence, comes this support from this prestigious European body.
