
The 37th edition of Aseelah International Cultural Forum opened on July 19 and will run until August 9.
The annual cultural symposium chose Bahrain as a guest of honour in its 36th edition, which was held last year.
Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa attended the first forum which was held yesterday at the Prince Bandar bin Sultan Library under the theme: "Back to the Past: Toward a New Cold World War".
Addressing the symposium, shed thanked former Moroccan Foreign Minister, and founder of Aseelah International Cultural Forum for his efforts to convene the annual platform.
She underlined the challenges and crises confronting the Arab World, stressing the importance of promoting culture in order to build future life fir the coming generation.
