
The Kingdom of Bahrain, for the second year in a row, tomorrow will host International IGN Convention and Exhibition , one of the most specialized international exhibitions in the field of games, movies and comic books.
Tarteeb Organization, in collaboration with IGN International, will organize the event on 24-25 Oct 2014 at Bahrain International Circuit, where the world's latest video games, comic books, magazines will be showcased, in addition to holding video games and fancy dress contests.
Tarteeb's Director General, Mohammad Abdulla Al-Muharraqi, told Bahrain News Agency (BNA), that the exhibition will not only include entertainment activities, but also educational and marketing. Where training workshops will be held to enhance the youth's knowledge in these fields.
He said 4000 visitors are expected to visit the two-day exhibition, which will host famous series characters, including Hafthor Bjornsson known as "The mountain" from Game of Thrones series, Naomi Kyle host of Daily Fix program, Canadian actress Julia Voth from Resident Evil series and many more.
He added that the second version of the event is sponsored by BATELCO, Economic Development Board, US Embassy and United Nations Industrial Development Organization "UNIDO".
He called on civil society institutions and government and private sectors to experience the exhibition second version.
