Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Military Museum of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and was informed about the final stages of work there, including procedures to finish the construction and equipment of such as an important project. Shaikh Daij said that the establishment of the Military Museum reflects the wise leadership's keen interest to document the landmark contribution of BDF throughout history and key role in preserving the milestone achievements of the kingdom, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, adding that He also affirmed BDF's strong keenness to implement the project in a way that meets the aspirations of the wise leadership and General Command's senior officials, led by the Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa who, he said, has spared no effort to harness all potentials and overcome all obstacles in order to build the museum. The Chief of Staff also praised the constant follow-up of the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa of the progress of the project. Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Director of Military Works Brigadier Eng. Adel Bu Hajji and Director of Information and Moral Guidance Brigadier Mohammed Qtami Al-Kubaisi accompanied the Chief of Staff during the visit.
