
Ministry of Culture has held a dinner banquet in honor of the outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, Hijki Sumi, in appreciation of his huge role in strengthening cultural relations between the two countries, in the presence of a number of diplomats and representatives of the cultural sector in Bahrain.
Culture Minister, Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa, had earlier met the outgoing Japanese Ambassador and hailed his efforts that produced a number of joint cultural activities took place during Bahrain's celebrations of Manama the 2014 capital of Asian tourism and other cultural events.
Japanese Ambassador commended the Cultural Minister's support that assisted in making his mission successful in Bahrain, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
