
Sixty-four reciters took part in the Quran Contest which was held at the Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology and Isa Town Intermediate School for Girls.
The Ministry of Education Students Services Directorate organised the contest in cooperation with the Directorates of Curricula and Educational Advisory.
The contest is part of 41st edition of the Education Ministry Quran and Sunnah Award for Bahrain Schools administrative and educational staff.
The contestants who were in the fray vying for the award were required to memorise and recite the last three sections of the Holy Quran in accordance with the guidelines set by the arbitration jury, including tajweed rules.
