King of Bahrain receives Arab writers

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received today Arab writers taking part in the 4th Arab Authors Forum, being held as part Manama Capital of Tourism 2013.HM the King welcomed the elite of cultural figures and authors, wishing the participants in the forum success in promoting the Arab civilization and cultural development.He hailed the forum as a good opportunity to project Bahraini women's cultural, intellectual and literary achievements as well as their leading role in numerous Arab and international organizations.He pointed out the importance of such Arab cultural meetings in strengthening communication between cultural functions in the Arab world to reinforce joint relations and benefit from shared experiences.HM the King expressed pride in celebrating Manama respectively as Capital of Arab Culture2012 and Capital of Arab Tourism 2013.He hailed the Arab honour which reflects the Kingdom's status as an open and civilized country that represents Arab values and the teachings of Islam. HM paid tribute to Bahrain Writers Society for taking the initiative to host the Arab cultural event.
