Contemporary Image Collective (CIC), an art initiative dedicated to developing visual culture and artistic practice, engagement and discourse, has launched a new educational program called Encounters.
In monthly informal sessions, participants are offered feedback on portfolios and any ongoing projects.
"The monthly 'Encounters' offers the possibility to talk to experienced artists, curators, photographers and related practitioners about projects you’re working on, your portfolio or general questions related to education and working in visual arts and culture," CIC announced.
Those interested are requested to send their name and contact information. No application is required.
The first Encounter session will be held on 15 March with renowned photographer Yasser Alwan at CIC's library 1-4pm.
