Egypt's Culture Minister Abdul Wahid Al Nabawi on Friday inaugurated a museum for sculpture arts in Aswan.
The minister was accompanied by President of the Bahraini Authority of Culture and Antiquities Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Egypt will continue its march towards progress in the culture and arts fields at the Arab and international levels, the minister said.
"We have a culture of tolerance that rejects violence and accept the others," he added.
For her part, Sheikha Mai called on the Egyptian minister to propose the idea of investing in culture during Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) slated for March 13-15.
