On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) hosted a series of religious lectures delivered by Sheikh Mohammed Abdurrahman Al Oraifi at its headquarters. The lectures were attended by a number of EVPs, senior officials and staff. These lectures, part of DEWA's initiatives and social responsibility, are aimed at maintaining national identity and social cohesion and promote awareness of Islamic values related to the Holy Month of Ramadan, as well as strengthening the spirit of solidarity, intimacy and tolerance amongst all staff. During his lectures, organized by the Internal Communications Department in collaboration with DEWA Women's Committee, Sheikh Al Oraifi covered topics including the secrets of Ramadan, advice for women who are fasting, and several religious topics such as approaching Allah, being good to your parents, and advocating against injustice. At the end of the lectures, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD '&' CEO of DEWA, thanked Sheikh Al Oraifi for his contribution and efforts.
