
The Second edition of Dubai Otology Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery Conference & Exhibition concluded today at the Crowne Plaza hotel.
The event witnessed the participation of over 20 key opinion-leaders coming from all over the world to share their knowledge and expertise in this specialised field. Dubai Otology 2014 saw the participation of over 400 Regional & International E.N.T. Specialists & Surgeons, Otolaryngologists, Otologists, Neurologists, Audiologists, Doctors, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Delegates, Trainees, Nurses, and Students.
On the sidelines of the conference and the exhibition, the scientific committee announced the dates of the Post Conference Hands-On Cadaveric Workshops on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Anterior Skull Base Surgery, Temporal Bone Dissection and Lateral Skull Base Surgery, which will be held from October 19 till October 22 at the Sharjah Surgical Institute in Sharjah University. The hands-on cadaveric post-conference workshop will be conducted by the organisers in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Health and with the support of Sharjah Surgical Institute in Sharjah University.
Dr. Ahmed Alamadi, Consultant Otologist & Neurotologist and Medical Director at Al Baraha Hospital, and the Dubai Otology Conference Chairman, was delighted with the results of the conclusion of the event. Dr. Alamadi urged fellow surgeons and doctors to attend the specialised courses and to participate in the hands-on workshops on a regular basis, being a great opportunity for them to enhance their experience and build up their scientific knowledge.
