
Egypt's Culture Minister Helmy el Namnam met on Friday with his Saudi counterpart Adel bin Zaid Al Toraifi.
They discussed ways to promote cooperation and cultural projects of mutual concern.
Cooperation in publication, translation, children's theater and museums was also mulled.
They asserted ties between Cairo and Riyadh and the importance of the current visit of King Salman bin Abdel Aziz to Cairo.
Namnam expressed pleasure over the trip. He noted that Egypt participated in the recent book fair in Riyadh.
The Egyptian minister reviewed his ministry's projects at present and in the future.
