Egyptian Awqaf minister denies banning call for prayers in mosques
Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa denied banning call for prayers in mosques and discussing modernizing the Quran during a conference on the greatness of Islam.
Gomaa termed those who spread these rumors as agitators.
This came during the inauguration ceremony of a Quran radio station in Santa in Gharbia.
Awqaf minister asserted Islam's promotion of the values of mercy and tolerance.
Gomaa renewed condemnation of blatant murders of Daesh, asserting trust in the Egyptian army to face this organization.
