
Awqaf (Endowments) Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, lauded the role played by the kingdom, under King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, in serving Islam and Muslims.
He hailed also printing the holy Qur'an and spreading it in the whole world.
After visiting King Fahd Complex for Printing of the Holy Qur'an, Gomaa said that this complex adds something every year in the field of printing the holy book and translating it, according to the Saudi News Agency.
The awqaf minister met with the Head of the complex Mohammed Salem bin Shadid al Oufi and then carried out a tour in the complex with his accompanying delegation.
During the tour, he listened to an explanation about the mechanism of printing Qur'an and the publications related to it in different languages.
Goma is visiting Saudi Arabia upon an invitation from the Saudi Awqaf Minister Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed al Sheikh.
He will hold discussions with the Saudi officials on means of promoting joint cooperation in the religious field to combat terrorism and correct the false ideas about Islam.
