Egyptian minister, Menya governor discuss replacement of Nefertiti bust

Culture Minister Abdel Wahid el Nabawy has phoned Menya Governor Salah Zeyada to discuss the replacement of the Nefertiti bust that was removed from Samallout City entrance.
The bust has caused uproar on social media due to its grotesque and disproportionate features.
Menya governor has expressed readiness to modernize Samallout sq., welcoming the initiative of the culture ministry to provide another statue that meets the Egyptian sculpture's good name.
