
The Awqaf Ministry decided to ban imams and preachers affiliated to Muslim Brotherhood (MB) or any other terrorist group from preaching in Egypt's mosques.
In a press release, the religious affairs sector at the Ministry of Awqaf said the ministry will announce in the coming two weeks the full ban list.
The ministry will only reconsider its decision for those who will be able to provide official documents asserting that they had revoked their allegiance to the MB or any other terrorist or Takfiri groups and denounced terrorist attacks and the sabotage of of public and private property.
