
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab along with Culture Minister Gaber Asfour and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed ben Abdel Aziz Qattan toured on Wednesday the Saudi pavilion at the 46th session of Cairo International Book Fair, which kicked off today and will run until February 12.
This year’s guest of honor is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi pavilion is the biggest at Cairo International Book Fair and contains a modern electronic system which groups all the addresses of the publishing houses that are taking part in the fair, said the Saudi ambassador.
Arab and African countries participating are, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Tunisia, Oman, Palestine, Jordan, Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Algeria, Iraq, Morocco, Syria and Lebanon. Non-Arab countries are Italy, Russia, India, Azerbaijan, Germany, France and Czech Republic.
