Grand Egyptian Museum to host first international conference on Tutankhamun

The Board of Directors of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) headed by Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el-Damaty decided on Sunday to host the first international conference on Tutankhamun in May of next year.
The antiquities ministry will make good use of this event to promote this major national project, the minister said.
The meeting tackled progress in the GEM project.
