The agreement includes an executive programme for 2012-2015. Secretary-General of Kuwait's National Council of Culture, Arts and Letters said in a statement the programme was signed on the sidelines of the Iranian Cultural Week, which kicked off in Kuwait on Monday. It was signed by the Secretary General of the Council Ali Al-Yoha and Head of the Culture and Islamic Relations Organization of Iran Mohammad Baqer Khorramshad. The ceremony was attended by the Iranian ambassador and other Iranian officials visiting the country. The two sides agreed through the programme on cooperation in sectors of cultural heritage, museums, maintenance of ancient buildings and organisation of workshops for artists. They also agreed on cooperation in theatrem music, holding of fairs and cinema. Moreover, they agreed on holding information seminars, development of cooperation in the audio-visual media, exchanging programmes marking national occasions of the two countries, holding joint courses and exchanging media expertise. They will also organise reciprocal visits for media figures, exchange information and publications.
