Adviser to Egypt's Mufti Ibrahim Negm asserted on Thursday that Islam totally rejects killing innocents under any pretext, condemning the terrorist attack on the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
In a statement issued by Egypt's top religious institution Dar Al Ifta, Negm said terrorism has no religion and its impact is not limited to specific communities.
He added that the perpetrators of this terror attack should be harshly punished as being outlaws.
" We all have common responsibility for confronting extremism and terrorism", Negm stressed.
