
At a ceremony held this afternoon at the Bahrain National Museum, a book entitled "Khalifa bin Salman, a Front line Knight ", highlighting the biography of HRH the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, was launched today by Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa. The book is written by Mr. Khalifa bin Ahmed Sulaibeekh. Present were a number of MPs, members of the Shura Council members as well as other citizens concerned. Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa confirmed the importance of the book in terms of being a documented biography of the His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, who represents a model in giving, devotion and dedication to meeting citizens’ aspirations and needs. "The life of Prince Khalifa bin Salman is an example of continuous and renewed giving. Therefore the documentation of his achievements is a significantly important matter to remain as evidence of a statesman who has devotedly loved his country. It will remain at the same time as an asset for future generations." Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa said. He went on to praise the efforts made by the author in the preparation of the book and producing it in a remarkable form that reflects the value of its content, in terms of being a biography of a heavy-weight character as HRH the premier. He also expressed his hope the book would be a reference in patriotism and sacrifice to all of those concerned. For his part, author of the book, Mr. Sualibeekh stressed in the book’s preface that "writing about a heavy-weight entity like Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the role he has played in building a great and civilized country was a great experience." He pointed out that there is much evidence that confirm that Bahrain has assumed top positions in the international arena thanks to the efforts of His Highness. He also noted he focused in his book on HRH the premier’s determination as well as renewable humanitarian attitudes toward people. The book consists of 370 broadsheet pages, featuring 4 parts which address HRH’s birth, upbringing, autobiography, as well as positions and tasks taken up by him. It also deals with decorations, medals, awards and certificates awarded to His Highness. During the ceremony, a short film titled the "Father of the Nation ", featuring the life course and achievements of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, was shown. It showcased the medals and certificates of honor awarded to HRH the premier by heads of Arab and foreign states and international organizations, in recognition of his efforts in the development of Bahrain and building its strong relations of friendship with various nations of the world.
